The HBIL will be at ISBI 2013, in San Francisco
Andrew Laine, Elsa Angelini, Arthur Mikhno and Yrjö Häme will attend ISBI in San Francisco. HBIL is very involved with the ISBI conference, as Prof. Laine is the current chair of the Steering Committee, and Prof. Angelini will be general co-chair of ISBI’15 in Brooklyn, New York.

We are proud to announce the publication of our paper: “A Framework for Mining Signatures from Event Sequences and Its Applications in Healthcare Data”, Wang, Fei, Noah Lee, Jianying Hu, Jimeng Sun, Shahram Ebadollahi, and A. Laine, IEEE TPAMI, Feb 2013. This work was part of a collaboration between IBM T.J. Watson Res. Center, Hawthorne, NY, USA and the HBIL.
